Your practitioner, Gemma Goyne is an experienced Myotherapist and a passionate advocate for mindful living, Gemma is here to support you in reconnecting with your body's innate wisdom, transforming pain, and embracing a life lived fully and without limitation.

A journey shaped by passion and experience

As a mother of three, a partner, a cyclist, a hiker, and an empath, Gemma is deeply passionate about adventure, connection, and life itself. She is proud of the journey that has shaped her and is excited to share her experience, knowledge, and passion with her community.

With over 20 years as a practicing Myotherapist, Gemma has learned that pain does not always present purely as a physical symptom. Many persistent pain patterns are influenced by deeper emotional, behavioural, and lifestyle factors.

Through further study at La Trobe University, Bachelor of Psychological Science, Gemma has deepened her understanding of human behaviour. She now integrates this knowledge into her practice, combining a unique set of skills to support people experiencing pain alongside behavioural and life challenges.

Listening to your body's wisdom

Over time, Gemma has grown and challenged the way she works, thinks and shows up for my clients, recognising the importance of deeper connection, presence, and understanding in the healing process. Gemma is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where transformation can occur. The body is constantly communicating with us. Gemma's role is to help you listen when you’re finding it difficult to do so yourself — and to support you in learning how to listen with awareness, compassion, and without judgement.

Gemma's Personal Achievements

 

Gemma has a strong passion for cycling, with over 20 years’ experience as both a social and competitive cyclist. Her most recent achievements include:

  • Gran Fondo World Championships competitor — top 30 in the world (coached by David Steggles Sturt)

  • 3 Peaks Challenge (2022 & 2024) sub 10 hour finisher (coached by David Richards)

  • Gran Fondo National Champion 2020 (coached by David Richards)

Beyond cycling, Gemma enjoys a wide variety of movement and adventure-based activities, including tennis, hiking, strength training, and swimming. Bucket-list hikes completed to date include:

  • Three Capes Track, Tasmania

  • Milford Track, New Zealand

  • Falls to Hotham Alpine Crossing
